Attention Soldiers,
We are thrilled to announce a new, revolutionary game play system for War Rock. The new “Guess Your Foe” system ensures that skill is no longer a factor in War Rock. We’ve made changes to the Jindo Engine to ensure that frame rates are locked at 11 frames per second. This change will ensure that players will not be able to accurately tell where other players are. This means that just because you may be seeing a player at a certain spot, they could have already moved. It has adds a great “whack-a-mole” feeling to the game.
Another major change involved with the “Guess Your Foe” system is the change from Peer-to-Peer to Peer-to-Server. This long awaited changes should be a great boon to players. After our initial tests we have verified that the new Peer-to-Server system will cause an average ping of 1500 for all players. Our hope is that the new “Guess Your Foe” system combined with the Peer-to-Server lag will slow the pace of the game almost to a halt, putting seasoned veterans on the same footing as n00bs.
